Please join our efforts to prevent PTSD by donating to FCTRT Inc. Your donation will help defray the cost of:

  • Pro bono educational presentations to help First Responders identify duty induced trauma and build resiliency
  • Specialty training to mental health clinicians to ensure that they are providing the highest quality services to these men and women
  • Quick response to provide early intervention trauma treatment after local area disasters and traumatic events which can prevent future post-traumatic stress disorders.

Thank you! As of October 31st, 2020 with the help of our contributors and volunteers we provided:

  • 12 Free educational presentations for First Responder organizations, reaching 183 public safety workers
  • 17 COVID-19 related responses for Hospital, Fire, EMT, Law Enforcement professionals
  • 2 Rapid responses to the Wilton School district after a student death
  • Provided over 55 hours of pro bono mental health services
  • 3 Free trainings for mental health clinicians to insure cutting edge best practice work in response to the pandemic
  • Monthly free consultation sessions for our volunteers
  • Monthly support groups for First Responders and First Responder spouses and partners

Thank you! Since our inception in 2011, with the help of our contributors and volunteers we provided:

  • COVID-19: Continue to provide support and mental health treatment to Healthcare personnel. Clergy, Funeral Directors, Nursing Home staff as well as EMS, Firefighters, Police, and Psychotherapists
  • Local school district: Held several trauma trainings to understand student suicides
  • Newtown/Sandy Hook: Provided treatment to children, families, Teachers, EMS, Firefighters, Law Enforcement, Hospital Staff, Clergy and Psychotherapists
  • Public Safety Officers: Led 162 pro bono training workshops for 36 First Responder organizations, reaching over 3,200 individuals
  • Local Clinicians: Offered 10 free or reduced fee trainings to Mental Health Clinicians, with over 350 participants
  • Held our first Clinician/First Responder day-long conference: Trauma and Recovery for First Responder Communities. Coming together: Firefighters, Police, EMTs, Nurses, Physicians & Therapists
